They outrebounded Flame 44-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by Flame helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (205-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. The former international point guard Li Yuan (170-2000) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shakira Austin (196-1999, college: Ole Miss) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and forward Yuting Lin (178-1994) added 8 points and 5 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
