American Power forward Jordan Mickey (203-F/C-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Qingdao Eagles, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 43.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 22 rebounds, while his team edged out Liaoning FL (#9, 20-17) 98-96. Eagles maintains the 8th position in Chinese CBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Qingdao E. will need more victories to improve their 23-15 record. In the team's last game Mickey had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Eagles and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Louisiana State University star has very solid stats this year. Mickey leads league in rebounds with 11.4rpg. Mickey is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.9bpg and 57.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American QJ Peterson (183-PG-1994, agency: JCK Sports Group) of Fujian Sturgeons. Peterson had a very good evening with 44 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Sturgeons was edged by the higher-ranked Shanghai S. (#1, 34-4) 119-116. Fujian S. managed to keep the same 15th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-23 record. Peterson is one of the most experienced players at Fujian S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.5rpg and 5.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Trevelin Queen (197-G-1997) of Guangdong Southern Tigers (#4). Queen showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Guandong Tigers, leading his team to a 117-84 easy win against the lower-ranked Jilin NE T. (#12, 15-22). Guangdong ST needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 26 victories and 12 lost games. Queen has a very solid season. In 34 games in China he scored 19.0ppg. He also has 5.3rpg, 5.1apg, 2.6spg and a FGP of 55.7%.
