D.J. Wilson claims Chinese CBA Hoops Agents weekly honour

American D.J. Wilson (208-F-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for Jilin Northeast Tigers and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 41.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Sichuan BW (#20, 0-36) with 19-point margin 103-84. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Jilin Tigers is placed at 12th position in Chinese CBA. Jilin NE T. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 15-21 record. In the team's last game Wilson had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Jilin Tigers's top player in his first season with the team. University of Michigan graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wilson is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.1rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 53.6% FGP.

His other stats are also decent: 4.4rpg and 5.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Harry Giles III (208-F-1998) of Jiangsu Dragons Nanjing (#18). Giles III got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . He was a key player of Jiangsu Dragons, leading his team to a 89-88 win against the higher-ranked Beijing RF (#13, 15-21). Jiangsu D. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 10-25 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Giles III has individually a great season in China. After 35 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (5th best).
