Briscoe's 28 points and 9 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (190-PG-1996) had a great game in the last round for Fujian Sturgeons and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 39.
He had the game-high 28 points adding nine rebounds and seven assists for Fujian S. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Qingdao E. (#7, 21-14) 102-92. Sturgeons maintains the 15th position in Chinese league. Fujian S. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-23 record. In the team's last game Briscoe had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sturgeons's top player in his first season with the team. Isaiah Briscoe averages this season 13.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was D.J. Wilson (208-F-1996) of Jilin Northeast Tigers. He is American forward in his first season at Jilin NE T.. In the last game Wilson recorded an impressive double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Jilin Tigers to another comfortable win outscoring Sichuan BW (#20, 0-36) 104-84. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Jilin NE T. keeps 13th position. Third place about best performers goes to guard Terquavion Smith (193-G-2002) of Shenzhen Leopards (#3). Smith scored 29 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Leopards, leading his team to a 109-94 easy win against #2 ranked Guangsha L. in a game of the week. Shenzhen L. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 24 victories and 11 lost games. Smith has a great season in China. After 35 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (3rd best).
