CBA top team - Sharks (30-4) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (14-20) in Changchun 110-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jilin Tigers. Shanghai dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Jilin Tigers's 42. Shanghai looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American-Qatari Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) chipped in 19 points during the contest. American forward DJ Wilson (208-1996, college: Michigan) responded with 24 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shanghai maintains first position with 30-4 record. Jilin NE T. at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 20 games lost. Shanghai are looking forward to face Tianjin P. (#19) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Jilin NE T. will play against Sichuan (#20) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Bottom-ranked Blue Whales (0-34) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 34th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Loongs (18-16) 103-81.
