Shaanxi adds Hamby to their roster

Dearica Hamby

Shaanxi Red Wolves (WCBA) added to their roster 32-year old USA international forward Dearica Hamby (190cm-1993, college: Wake Forest, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at LA Sparks (WNBA). In 44 games she recorded very impressive stats: 18.4ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.3apg and 1.6spg (in top 5).
In 2015 she was drafted by San Antonio Stars (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
The former Wake Forest University standout is in her eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. She has been regularly called to the USA Senior National Team since 2022.
Hamby is quite experienced player. Hamby's career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in five different countries. She tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. Hamby has played professionally in Italy (Ragusa), Korea (KB Stars), Turkey (Kayseri), WNBA (S.Antonio SS and LV Aces) and China (Beijing Great Wall).
Among many awards she won WNBA championship title in 2022. She was voted to WNBA League All-Star Game in 2024.
