Destiny Slocum

Liaoning Henye (WCBA) signed 28-year-old American 170cm point guard Destiny Slocum (college: Arkansas). She began the season with Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin in Polish OBLK. Slocum played in three leagues this year. In 15 OBLK games, she averaged 14.3ppg, 5.1rpg, and 5.1apg. She also played 2 games in Euroleague, averaging 13.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.5apg, and 1.5spg. In addition, she contributed to 9 games in Eurocup, recording 13.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.1apg, and 1.8spg. Last season, she played for Basket Landes in the French league.
In 2021, she was drafted by the Las Vegas Aces (WNBA) in the second round (14th overall).
She graduated from the University of Arkansas and is in her fifth season in pro basketball.
Slocum, a very experienced player, has experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents thanks to pro basketball. She is familiar with European, Latin American, and North American leagues. Slocum has played professionally in France (Toulouse and Landerneau), Hungary (UNI Gyor), Mexico (Panteras), Poland, Turkey (Botas, Kayseri, and Hatay), and the WNBA (Atlanta Dream).
Among many awards, she won the French League championship title in 2025. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-French League Honorable Mention in 2025. Slocum played for other colleges such as Oregon State University and the University of Maryland.
