Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Leader Sharks delivered the twenty sixth win on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 11th ranked Loongs (15-15) 112-80 in Taiyuan. Shanghai shot the lights out from three sinking 21 long-distance shots on high 61.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Shanxi L.'s players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Hongquan Li (198-2001) who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Liyongwei Xie (196-2004, college: Humboldt St.) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guinean-American Hamidou Diallo (198-1998, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sharks (26-4) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Shanghai maintains first place. Shanxi L. at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Shanghai are looking forward to face Tianjin P. (#18) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Shanxi L. will play against Shandong H. (#3) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guangdong ST maintains fourth place with 20-10 record. Sichuan lost their twenty ninth game in a row. They still close the standings. Guangdong ST will play against Beijing D. (#5) at home in the next round. Sichuan will play against the league's second-placed Guangsha L. (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Fourteenth-ranked Loong Lions (12-17) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Eagles (18-12) in Guangzhou on Thursday. The visitors from Qingdao managed to secure only two-point victory 90-88. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Loong Lions. It was a great evening for Jordan Mickey who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds. Eagles' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Lindell Wigginton responded with 20 points and 4 assists. Qingdao E. maintains seventh place with 18-12 record. Loser Loong Lions keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Qingdao E. will meet at home Zhejiang GB. (#10) in the next round. Guangzhou will play against Liaoning (#9) and hope to secure a win.

Other games of round 35 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Zhejiang GB. was defeated by Beijing D. in a road game 88-75. Jilin NE T. beat Liaoning at home 82-75. Fujian S. lost to Ningbo R. on the opponent's court 81-85. Xinjiang was outscored by Shandong H. in a home game 82-102. Nanjing managed to beat Beijing on the road 108-101.



Beijing D. - Zhejiang GB. 88-75

There was no surprise in Beijing where 9th ranked Golden Bulls (16-14) were defeated by sixth ranked Ducks (19-11) 88-75 on Wednesday. Beijing D. made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American-Lebanese Omari Spellman (206-1997, college: Villanova) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. American center Javale McGee (213-1988, college: Nevada) helped adding 17 points. Four Ducks players scored in double figures. International Shuaipeng Cheng (191-1999) responded with 23 points and American Andrew Andrews (188-1993, college: Washington) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beijing D. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Shenzhen L. Loser Golden Bulls dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Liaoning and Ningbo R.. Beijing D. will meet higher ranked Guangdong ST (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zhejiang GB. will play against Qingdao E. (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There was a surprise result in Changchun where fifteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (13-17) defeated higher ranked Flying Leopards (16-14) 82-75 on Wednesday. Jilin NE T. had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Weize Jiang (182-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward DJ Wilson (208-1996, college: Michigan) helped adding 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four Jilin Tigers players scored in double figures. American power forward Eric Moreland (208-1991, college: Oregon St.) responded with 9 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Hao Fu (208-1997) scored 13 points. Flying Leopards' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Jilin NE T. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Beijing. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory.
