HK JinNiu outrebounded Jiangsu 38-22 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. HK JinNiu players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Mason Jones (193-1998, college: Arkansas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Nigerian-American swingman EJ Anosike (199-1998, college: CS Fullerton) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side American guard Kendall Smith (190-1995, college: OK State) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import center Henry Sims (208-1990, college: Georgetown) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Jiangxi brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American players dominated the game. Guard Niven Glover (196-2000) stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and guard Michael Bryson (193-1994, college: UCSB) chipped in 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Jiangxi players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Jaylen Adams (188-1996, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and guard Corey Lamonte (191-1998) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

Hefei - Hunan 80-81

Hunan made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Hefei helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. American-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners.
