Rayjon Tucker claims Chinese CBA weekly honour

American Rayjon Tucker (191-G-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 28-year old guard got a double-double of 33 points and 12 assists, while his team beat Jilin NE T. (#14, 11-16) 102-88. Guangsha Lions maintains the 2nd position in Chinese CBA. They are still close to the very top. Guangsha L. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 23-5 record. In the team's last game Tucker had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Guangsha Lions's top player in his first season with the team. Rayjon Tucker averages this season 17.0ppg and 4.3apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Guinean Hamidou Diallo (198-SF-1998) of Shanxi Loongs. Diallo impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Loongs to edge slightly lower-ranked Beijing RF (#12, 12-16) by 5 points 107-102. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Shanxi L. keeps 11th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 14-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Diallo is a newcomer at Shanxi L. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.9ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 5.6rpg and 3.4apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Dallas Moore (185-PG-1994) of Jilin Northeast Tigers (#14). Moore got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and eight assists. Despite Moore's great performance the Jilin Tigers lost 88-102 to the higher-ranked Guangsha L. (#2, 23-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Jilin NE T. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 16 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Moore could help Jilin NE T. to bring them higher in the standings. Moore has a very solid season. In 27 games in China he scored 16.0ppg. He also has 3.9apg and a FGP of 55.5%.
