Dickerson's double-double lands him NBL Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American center Noah Dickerson (207-C-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Anhui Wenyi and receives a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 24 rebounds, while his team beat Guizhou (#13, 8-17) 94-84. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Anhui W. moved-up to the 11th position in Chinese NBL. Anhui W. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-14 record. Dickerson just recently signed at Anhui W., being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dickerson leads league in rebounds with 15.4rpg. Dickerson is in league's top in and averages solid 54.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Sterling Manley (213-F/C-1998) of Guizhou Menglong. He is American forward in his first season at Guizhou. In the last game Manley recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Guizhou lost that game 84-94 to slightly higher-ranked Anhui W. (#11, 11-14). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Guizhou dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (13th) position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-17 record. Manley is one of the most experienced players at Guizhou and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mohamed Kone (188-G-1998) of Jiangxi Ganchi (#7). Kone got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and seven assists. Despite Kone's great performance the Jiangxi lost 119-120 to slightly higher-ranked Hebei (#5, 13-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Jiangxi needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 12 lost games. Kone has a great season in China. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.2apg (8th best).
