28-year old American power forward Marquese Chriss (206-PF-1997) had a great game in the last round for Shandong Heroes and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
He had a double-double of 42 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Qingdao E. (#6, 15-11) 85-76. Heroes maintains the 4th position in Chinese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shandong H. will need more victories to improve their 17-8 record. In the team's last game Chriss had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Heroes and it's hard to imagine this team without him. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Chriss is in league's top in points (9th best: 20.9ppg) and averages solid 51.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jinqiu Hu (211-C-1997) of league's second-best Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. He is former international center in his 7th season at Guangsha L.. In the last game Hu recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Guangsha Lions was edged by the lower-ranked Zhejiang GB. (#8, 15-11) 89-86. Guangsha L. managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. It was just his team's 5th loss this season, while they won 21 other games. Hu is one of the most experienced players at Guangsha L. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jordan Mickey (203-F/C-1994) of Qingdao Eagles (#6). Mickey showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Mickey's great performance the Eagles lost 76-85 to slightly higher-ranked Shandong H. (#4, 17-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Qingdao E. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 15 victories and 11 lost games. Mickey has a great season in China. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.8bpg and a FGP of 54.0%.
