Rayjon Tucker claims Chinese CBA Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Rayjon Tucker (191-G-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 28-year old guard had the game-high 33 points adding three rebounds and nine assists for Guangsha L. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Nanjing MK (#18, 9-16) with 33-point margin 113-80. Guangsha Lions maintains the 2nd position in Chinese CBA. They are still close to the very top. Guangsha L. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 20-5 record. Tucker turned to be Guangsha Lions's top player in his first season with the team. Rayjon Tucker averages this season 15.6ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard T.J. Starks (188-G-1998) of Jiangsu Dragons Nanjing. Starks impressed basketball fans with 33 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists. Bad luck as Jiangsu Dragons lost that game 104-113 to the higher-ranked Shandong H. (#4, 17-7). Jiangsu D. is still in a red zone at 19th spot in the standings. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Jiangsu Dragons managed to get this year. Starks is a newcomer at Jiangsu D. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Marquese Chriss (206-PF-1997) of Shandong Heroes (#4). Chriss scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Heroes, leading his team to a 113-104 win against the lower-ranked Jiangsu D. (#19, 6-19). Shandong H. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 7 lost games. Chriss has a great season in China. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (7th best).
