An interesting game took place in Hangzhou where higher ranked Hebei (12-11) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Hangzhou (10-13) 96-91 on Friday. Hangzhou made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Hebei helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Trevor Thompson (210-1994, college: Ohio St., agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American-Puerto Rican point guard Jordan Howard (180-1996, college: Cent Arkansas) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-1994, agency: BIG) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hangzhou moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Anhui W. Hebei lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Shandong. Hangzhou is looking forward to face higher ranked Hunan (#3) in Changsha in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hebei will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 25 Hunan won against Anhui W. on the opponent's court 88-84. Hubei unfortunately lost to Shandong in a home game 85-90.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 30 points and 14 rebounds by Baylee Steele of Hubei.

Anhui W. - Hunan 84-88

Very expected game when 10th ranked Anhui W. (10-13) was defeated at home by third ranked Hunan (14-9) 88-84 on Friday. Hunan looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Stephen Zimmerman (211-1996, college: UNLV) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St., agency: JCK Sports Group) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Hunan's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side center Noah Dickerson (207-1997, college: Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Jesse Jones (183, college: Bridgeport) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hunan maintains third place with 14-9 record having four points less than leader HK JinNiu. Anhui W. at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Hangzhou. Hunan are looking forward to face Hangzhou (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Anhui W. will have a break next round.

Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Shandong moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hebei. Hubei at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
