Dickerson's double-double lands him NBL Player of the Week award

28-year old American center Noah Dickerson (207-C-1997) had a great game in the last round for Anhui Wenyi and receives a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Hebei (#5, 12-10) 112-103. Anhui W. maintains the 10th position in Chinese NBL. Anhui W. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-12 record. Dickerson just recently signed at Anhui W., being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Washington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dickerson leads league in rebounds with 15.2rpg. Dickerson is in league's top in and averages solid 55.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marcus LoVett Jr. (183-G-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) of Shanghai Black Bird. He is American guard in his first season at Shanghai. In the last game LoVett Jr. recorded an impressive 27 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course Shanghai cruised to a 92-80 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Shandong (#7, 11-11). This victory allowed Shanghai to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 13-9 record is not bad at all. LoVett Jr. is one of the most experienced players at Shanghai and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#7). He also recorded 4.1 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Baylee Steele (213-C-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) of Hubei Wenlv (#13). Steele got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for fifteen rebounds . Despite Steele's great performance the Hubei lost 87-99 to the higher-ranked HK JinNiu (#1, 19-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Hubei not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Steele could try to bring Hubei's a little bit higher in the standings. Steele has individually a great season in China. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.1ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 10.7rpg (7th best).
