Jiang's double-double lands him NBL Player of the Week award

27-year old forward Jiang Jiang (203-F-1998) had a great game in the last round for Hebei Xianglan and receives a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 41 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Jiaozuo (#10, 6-8) 132-127. Hebei is placed at 6th position in Chinese NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Hebei will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. In the team's last game Jiang had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hebei's top player in his first season with the team. Jiang Jiang averages this season 15.3ppg and 7.6rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Stephen Zimmerman (211-C-1996) of Hunan Changsha. He is American center in his first season at Hunan. In the last game Zimmerman recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Hunan to another comfortable win 112-97 over the lower-ranked Hubei (#7, 7-7) being unquestionably team leader. Hunan's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Zimmerman is one of the most experienced players at Hunan and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Baylee Steele (213-C-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) of Hubei Wenlv (#7). Steele got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . Despite Steele's great performance the Hubei lost 97-112 to the higher-ranked Hunan (#4, 9-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Hubei needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 7 lost games. Steele has a great season in China. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (6th best).
