Ramon Galloway (ex Alborz) is a newcomer at Hunan

Hunan Changsha (NBL) bolstered their roster by adding 34-year-old USA-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190cm-82kg-1991, college: La Salle). Galloway, who recently played for Mahgol Alborz in the Iranian Superleague, put up impressive stats of 27.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.3spg in four games this season. Prior to his time in Iran, he also played for CJS Batroun (DLBL) in the Lebanese league.
Galloway has attempted to make it to the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a highly experienced player. Thanks to his professional career, he has played on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America) in sixteen different countries. Galloway has played professionally in Bosnia, the Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Metros, CPN Pueblo Nuevo, Indios, and Bameso), Germany, Indonesia (Dewa United), Iraq (Al-Difaa), Italy, Lebanon, Mexico (Dorados), Morocco (AS Sale), Qatar, Taiwan (Taiwan Beer and TB Herobears), Turkey, Venezuela (Cocodrilos and Spartans), Libya (Ahly Benghazi), and The Basketball Tournament (Big 5 and Austin's Own).
Among many awards, he won the Iraqi League championship title in 2025. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League All-Imports Team in 2025.
He graduated from La Salle University in 2013 and is currently in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season as a professional player.
