Sara Blicavs (ex Canberra) signs at Shandong

Shandong Sports Lottery (WCBA) signed 32-year-old Australian international 188cm forward Sara Blicavs. She began the season with Canberra Capitals in the Australian WNBL. In 12 games, she averaged 12.8ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.2spg. Last season, she played for another Australian team, Boomers (NBL One South), in the Australian league.
She has also been a member of the Australian international program for some years. Blicavs has regularly played for the Australian senior team since 2015 and previously for the Under 22 National Team back in 2015.
She also represented Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup for Women in Blicavsnzhen (China) last year. Her team won Gold and she averaged over 11 points per game.
She has played also in Australia (Southside Flyers, Australian Institute of Sport, Bendigo Spirit, Lady Cobras and Tornadoes), WNBA (Phoenix Mercury) and Australia (United).
Blicavs won the Australian WNBL 2020 championship title in 2020.
