Beijing adds Kunek to their roster

Beijing Great Wall (WCBA) added experienced 35-year-old Australian-Irish ex-international swingman Alice Kunek (185cm-1991) to their roster. She started the season at Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol in Turkish KBSL. In 6 games, she recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.8apg, and 1.0spg.
She was also a member of the Australian international program for some years. Kunek played for Australian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2023 and previously for the Under 22 National Team back in 2015.
She also represented Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup for Women in Sydney (Australia) three years ago. Her team won Bronze and she averaged 12 points per game.
Kunek is a highly experienced player, having played professionally on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and Australia) in five different countries. She has previously played for teams in Australia (Townsville Fire, Boomers, Sydney Flames, Southside Flyers, and Australian Institute of Sport), France (Tarbes and Lyon), Hungary (Sopron), and Poland (Gdynia and Torun).
In 2023, she won the Hungarian League championship title. Kunek was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention in 2022.
