Chinese CBA round 13 best performance: Trevelin Queen (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Trevelin Queen (197-G-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Guangdong Southern Tigers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, six rebounds and nine assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Shenzhen L. (#11, 6-6) 110-105. It allowed Guandong Tigers to take over top position in the Chinese CBA. Guangdong ST have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Queen had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Guandong Tigers's top player in his first season with the team. Trevelin Queen averages this season 16.6ppg and 5.1apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Isaiah Briscoe (190-PG-1996) of Fujian Sturgeons. Briscoe had a very good evening with 33 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Sturgeons lost that game 99-105 to the higher-ranked Shandong H. (#7, 6-4). Fujian S. is still in a red zone at 17th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Briscoe is a newcomer at Fujian S., but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Dedric Lawson (206-F/C-1997) of Xinjiang Flying Tigers (#16). Lawson scored 20 points and passed 7 assists. Despite Lawson's great performance the Flying Tigers lost 76-79 to the higher-ranked Guangzhou LL (#9, 6-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Xinjiang not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lawson could try to bring Xinjiang FT's a little bit higher in the standings. Lawson has individually a great season in China. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.3apg (7th best). He also has a FGP of 61.2% and 3PT: 45.5%.
