Chinese WCBA round 13 best performance: Imani McGee-Stafford (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-C-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Henan Phoenix, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Ganzhou (#6, 0-12) with 28-point margin 95-67. Henan Phoenix maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Henan will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. McGee-Stafford turned to be Henan Phoenix's top player in her first season with the team. Imani McGee-Stafford averages this season 13.7ppg and 10.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jillian Alleyne (190-C-1994) of Jiangsu Yonglian Nanjing. Alleyne had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Jiangsu cruised to a 96-88 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Hebei (#9, 4-9). Jiangsu's 3rd position in Group A has not changed. Her team's 9-4 record is not bad at all. Alleyne is a newcomer at Jiangsu, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Siyu Wang (175-G-1995) of Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club (#4). Wang showcased her all-around game by recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Yuanda, leading her team to a 97-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Xinjiang (#8, 6-7). Sichuan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 4 lost games. Wang has a great season in China. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.7apg (5th best).

8. Xu Chenyan (200-C-1999) of Jiangsu - 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Natasha Howard (188-F-1991) of Sichuan - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Kalani Brown (201-C-1997) of Shanxi - 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
