Hebard's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

27-year old American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Zhejiang (#11, 2-10) with 35-point margin 97-62. Swordfish maintains the 6th position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shanghai will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Hebard had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Swordfish's top player in her first season with the team. University of Oregon graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hebard is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 65.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Khaalia Hillsman (196-C-1996) of Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club. She is American-Bulgarian center in her first season at Sichuan. In the last game Hillsman recorded an impressive double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led Yuanda to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Shaanxi (#12, 1-11) 99-76. Despite this victory Sichuan slide down in the standings to 5th position in Group A. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hillsman is a newcomer at Sichuan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough (175-PG-1996) of Henan Phoenix (#3). Walker-Kimbrough scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. She was a key player of Henan Phoenix, leading her team to a 103-73 easy win against Ganzhou (#6, 0-11). Henan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group B. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Walker-Kimbrough has a very solid season. In 11 games in China she scored 17.7ppg. She also has 5.5rpg, 3.4apg, 2.7spg and a FGP of 66.7%.
