Experienced Canadian Kayla Davis (170-G-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Hebei Win Power and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 30-year old guard had the game-high 44 points adding seven rebounds for Hebei in her team's victory, helping them to crush Shanxi (#3, 7-4) with 22-point margin 100-78. Power maintains the 9th position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. Hebei is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Power's top player in her first season with the team. Towson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.9ppg) and averages solid 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Chennedy Carter (175-PG-1998) of Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish. Carter impressed basketball fans with 45 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Swordfish to edge slightly lower-ranked Xinjiang (#8, 5-6) by 2 points 96-94. Shanghai's 6th position in Group A has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Carter is a newcomer at Shanghai and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.9ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 7.5rpg and 4.6apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Kai James (196-C-1995) of Beijing Great Wall (#10). James showcased her all-around game by recording 27 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite James' great performance the Beijing Great Wall lost 71-74 to the higher-ranked Jiangsu (#2, 8-3). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Beijing can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 3-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. James has a very solid season. In 11 games in China she scored 14.8ppg. She also has 9.0rpg and a FGP of 52.6%.
