Cooper's 42-point game gives her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American point guard Te'a Cooper (173-PG-1997) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Liaoning Henye and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had the game-high 42 points adding three rebounds and two assists for Liaoning in her team's victory, helping them to crush Fujian Z. (#5, 2-7) with 21-point margin 106-85. Liaoning Hengye maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Liaoning will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Cooper had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Liaoning Hengye's top player in her first season with the team. Te'a Cooper averages this season 16.7ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Myisha Hines-Allen (185-F-1996). She is American forward in her first season at Liaoning. In the last game Hines-Allen recorded an impressive triple-double of 21 points, 16 rebounds and 13 assists. Of course together with Cooper she helped Liaoning Henye with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Fujian Z. (#5, 2-7) 106-85. Liaoning Hengye's second position in Group B has not changed. Her team's 7-2 record is not bad at all. Hines-Allen is a newcomer at Liaoning Hengye and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.9ppg (#8). Her other stats are also decent: 15.4rpg and 7.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (193-F-1992) of Shandong Sports Lottery (#4). Parker-Tyus scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Sports Lottery, leading her team to a 81-78 win against the lower-ranked Zhejiang (#11, 1-9). Shandong needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Parker-Tyus has a very solid season. In 6 games in China she scored 14.5ppg. She also has 5.2rpg, 1.2bpg and a FGP of 59.2%.
