Liu Yutong signs at Shanghai

Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish (WCBA) signed 24-year-old 201cm center Liu Yutong for the upcoming season. She is a well-known player in the Chinese WCBA, having most recently played for Beijing Great Wall. In 7 WCBA games last season, she averaged 9.1ppg and 2.4rpg, helping her team reach the semifinals. Yutong has also played for another Chinese team, Flame.
Yutong represented China at the World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr (Germany) this year. Her team won Gold and she averaged over 11 ppg.
Yutong has played ppg for two other teams: Dragons and FUSC.
She was voted to the Chinese WCBA All-Star Game in 2022.
