Sichuan tabs Natasha Howard

Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club (WCBA) signed experienced 34-year-old USA ex-international 188cm forward Natasha Howard (college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) for the upcoming season. She most recently played for Indiana Fever (WNBA). In 53 games she averaged 11.2ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.6apg, and 1.1spg last season, helping them win the cup and reach the league semifinals. Last season, she played for CBK Mersin in the Turkish league, with impressive stats of 17.5ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.1spg in 13 games in the Turkish KBSL. She was voted League Player of the Week during that time.
In 2014, the Indiana Fever selected her as the fifth overall pick in the WNBA draft.
Howard graduated from Florida State University and it will be her 12th season in pro basketball. She was a member of the USA Senior National Team in 2022.
Howard is a very experienced player. She has traveled the world during her pro career, playing in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). Howard has played professionally in Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Italy (Schio and Venezia), Korea (KB Stars and Blue Minx), Russia (Dynamo Kursk), Turkey (Fenerbahce), WNBA (Dallas Wings, New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx, and Seattle Storm), and China (Golden Bulls, Magic Deer, and Mongolia). She was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroLeague All-Imports Team in 2025.
Howard won the Turkish KBSL championship title in 2024.
