Leopards add Wiggins to their roster, ex Karditsas

Demajeo Wiggins

Shenzhen Leopards (CBA) have added 28-year-old American power forward Demajeo Wiggins (208cm-112kg-1997, college: BGSU, agency: Octagon Europe) to their roster. He had been playing for Karditsas in the Greek GBL league before joining Shenzhen. In two games, he averaged 8.0ppg, 6.0rpg, and 1.5bpg. Wiggins also played 2 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he put up 12.5ppg, 10.5rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.0bpg.
Part of last season he spent at Lleida (Liga Endesa) in the Spanish league. The other team he played shortly was BG Goettingen (BBL) in the German league.
In 2019, he was selected by the Greensboro Swarm (G-League) in the first round (14th overall) of the draft.
Wiggins graduated from Bowling Green State University and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is a quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in nine different countries. Wiggins tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played professionally in Bulgaria (Rilski), Colombia (Storm), Estonia (Rapla), Germany, Hungary (Szolnok), Spain, Czech Republic (Olomoucko) and The Basketball Tournament (Fort Wayne Champs).
Wiggins was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Honorable Mention in 2023 and played in the final of Hungarian League in 2024.
