Dongguan New Century are the 2025 WBLA Champions! With a commanding 95–67 victory over Fujian, Dongguan sealed the title in dominant fashion. After a tight first quarter, they took control with a 23–11 run in the second, building a double-digit lead at halftime. The momentum continued after the break, as Dongguan outscored their opponents 25–15 in the third before closing strong with 29 points in the final quarter. Their depth, offensive rhythm, and relentless defense left no doubt, crowning them the new queens of the Women’s Basketball League of Asia.
Shuyu Yang (182-F-2002) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Sijing Huang (192-PF-1996) netted 20. Yuki Miyazawa (183-F-1993, college: Queens, NY) replied with 18 points in the losing effort.
