Elitzur Ramla (D1) added to their roster 29-year old American power forward Chelsea Nelson (188cm-1996, college: NC State) for new 2025-26 season. Nelson played last season at Guangdong in Chinese WCBA. In 20 games she recorded 9.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg. She helped them to win the League title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
Nelson is quite experienced player. Nelson's career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in six different countries. She tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. Nelson has played previously professionally in Hungary (PEAC-Pecs), Mexico (Astros), Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe), Spain (Zamora and Jairis), Turkey (Nesibe) and Israel (Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion). She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention back in 2020 and 2021.
Nelson graduated from North Carolina State University in 2018 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player.
