Chinese NBL round 11 best performance: E.J. Anosike (by Hoops Agents)

Nigerian-American Swingman E.J. Anosike (199-G/F-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Hebei Xianglan, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Hubei (#8, 1-12) with 25-point margin 102-77. Hebei maintains the 5th position in Chinese NBL. Hebei is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-7 record. In the team's last game Anosike had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hebei's top player in his first season with the team. Former California State University, Fullerton star has very solid stats this year. Anosike is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.5ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.1rpg) and averages impressive 61.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Serbian Dejan Bjelic (209-C-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) of Hubei Wenlv. Bjelic had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Hubei lost that game 77-102 to the higher-ranked Hebei (#5, 7-7). Hubei are still at the very bottom. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Hubei managed to get this year. Bjelic is a newcomer at Hubei, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Jiaxin Liu (200-F-1998) of league's second-best Hunan Changsha. Liu scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Liu's great performance the Hunan lost 86-90 to the lower-ranked Guangxi (#7, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Hunan needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Liu has a very solid season. In 14 games in China he scored 9.0ppg.
