China headed to the World University Games quarterfinals with a perfect record as they finished the Group Stage with three wins. They overcame Chile 83-37 for a 3-0 record.
China grabbed a 27-5 lead at the start and dominated the whole game. Chile managed to win the third quarter 15-13, however could not catch up with the opponents.
Qingyang Li (182-SF-2005), Cao Boyi (170-G-2003) and Liu Yutong (201-C-2001) top-scored for the winners with 12 points each. Jovanka Ljubetic (176-F-2000, agency: LBM Management) replied with 20 points in a loss as Chile ended up winless.
