China overcame Romania 82-49 at the World University Games. The Asian side improved to a 2-0 record, whilst Romania dropped at 1-1. China started h a 20-9 surge and won the rest of the quarters.
Zihan Zhang (189-C-2003) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Xingnuo Li (185-C-2005) added 14. Stefania Catinean (165-PG-2001) replied with 12 points in the losing effort.
