American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) scored 30 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Melvin Frazier Jr (196-1996, college: Tulane) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Jiangxi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Czech Tomas Kyzlink (198-1993) responded with 38 points (!!!) and 5 assists. Jiangxi is looking forward to face Hubei in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu YS will play against HK JinNiu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and Dominique Jones supported him with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 37 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds by swingman Melvin Frazier Jr (196-1996, college: Tulane) did not help to save the game for Jiangxi. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hunan will play against Hefei in the next round where they are favorite. Jiangxi will play against Hubei and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. HK JinNiu will meet at home Jiangsu YS in the next round. Hefei will play against Hunan and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 2 winless Hubei was destroyed by Hebei on the opponent's court 132-100. Winless Guangxi was outscored by Hefei in a home game 70-91.
