The Regular Season in NBL just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hebei in Yannan on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Jiangsu YS 95-84. Jiangsu YS outrebounded Hebei 43-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Jiangsu YS looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Hebei's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian power forward Vladimir Brodziansky (210-1994, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds. Czech Tomas Kyzlink (198-1993) contributed with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Davion Warren (198-1999, college: Texas Tech) answered with 34 points (!!!) for Hebei. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jiangsu YS is looking forward to face Jiangxi in the next round. Hebei will play against Hubei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another exciting game for Hefei which played on the court of Hubei. Hefei eked out just a narrow 3-points road win over Hubei 88-85. Hubei was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. American Gerry Blakes (193-1993, college: Arizona St.) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Radoslav Pekovic chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-1996, college: Arkansas) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Hefei will play against Guangxi on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hubei will play against Hebei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also a 26-point tough home defeat of Guangxi in a game versus Hunan 108-82. Dakari Johnson nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side. Zhenglin Pang came up with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for Guangxi in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hunan will meet Jiangxi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Guangxi will play against Hefei and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 1 Jiangxi beat Guangxi on the road 101-93. HK JinNiu won against Hunan on its own court 88-71.
