Mongolia outrebounded Magic Deer 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Mongolia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Li Yuan (170-2000) chipped in 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Wu Tongtong (176-1994) added 23 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Vermilion Birds forced 25 Sports Lottery turnovers and outrebounded them 32-19 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Vermilion Birds looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sports Lottery's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Huang Sijing (192-1996) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and American guard Aliyah Collier (183-1997, college: Clemson) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Australian forward Alanna Smith (193-1996, college: Stanford) responded with 23 points and 6 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American point guard Marquesha Davis (183-2001, college: Ole Miss) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Even a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds by Brazilian center Kamilla Cardoso (201-2001, college: S.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Swordfish. Forward Wang Yue (176-2004) added 14 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Swordfish's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
