Jiangsu - Sichuan 63-87

Yuanda forced 19 Jiangsu turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Jiangsu's players. The former international forward Meng Li (185-1995) nailed 15 points and 9 assists for the winning side and Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (205-1991) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Yuanda's coach Milos Paden felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Luo Xinyu (187-2001) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds and center Xu Chenyan (200-1999) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Jiangsu in the defeat.

American center Kai James (196-1995, college: FSU) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and American-Jordanian guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech) added 24 points (made all of her seven free throws) respectively for lost side.

At the losing side Puerto Rican-American Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Brazilian center Kamilla Cardoso (201-2001, college: S.Carolina) scored 4 points and 14 rebounds. Swordfish's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

American point guard Marquesha Davis (183-2001, college: Ole Miss) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Yang Hengyu (194-1995) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Vermilion Birds and four Sports Lottery players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
