Jiangsu - Sichuan 63-87

Yuanda forced 19 Jiangsu turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Jiangsu's players. The former international forward Meng Li (185-1995) nailed 15 points and 9 assists for the winning side and Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (205-1991) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Yuanda's coach Milos Paden felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Luo Xinyu (187-2001) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds and center Xu Chenyan (200-1999) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Jiangsu in the defeat.

At the losing side Puerto Rican-American Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Brazilian center Kamilla Cardoso (201-2001, college: S.Carolina) scored 4 points and 14 rebounds. Swordfish's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Five Vermilion Birds and four Sports Lottery players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
