Mongolia made 23-of-24 free shots (95.8 percent) during the game. Mongolia outrebounded Red Wolves 49-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Mongolia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a great evening for American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international forward Lili Wang (183-1992) helped adding 16 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was center Su Yingying (190-2001) with 14 points and point guard Zhuoya Zhuoya (166-2000) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Flame players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Olivia Nelson-Ododa (196-2000, college: UConn) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Chen Yujie (178-2000) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American power forward Peyton Williams (193-1998, college: Kansas St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and center Fu Jinqiu (188-1996) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for hengfan in the defeat. hengfan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
