Shanghai Sharks (CBA) signed 23-year old American guard Donovan Williams (198cm-86kg-2001, college: UNLV). He started the season at Westchester Knicks (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 35 games he had very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.9apg. The last season summer he played at Spurs in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League. He also played for Shooting Stars (arborough Shooting Stars (Canada-CEBL): 11 games: 17.7ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.1apg, 1.1spg, FGP: 58.4%, 3PT: 32.8%, FT: 75.0%) in Canadian arborough Shooting Stars (Canada-CEBL): 11 games: 17.7ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.1apg, 1.1spg, FGP: 58.4%, 3PT: 32.8%, FT: 75.0% earlier that season.
Williams is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Canada, NBA (Atlanta Hawks and GS Warriors), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, College Park SkyHawks and Long Island Nets) and NBA Summer League (Washington Wizards).
His team was regular season runner-up in CEBL Eastern Conference in 2024.
Williams graduated from University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2022 and it is his third season as a professional player. He played also for The University of Texas for 2 years.
