Keita Bates-Diop is a newcomer at Eagles

Keita Bates-Diop

Qingdao Eagles (CBA) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Keita Bates-Diop (203cm-104kg-1996, college: Ohio State). He supposed to play at NY Knicks in the NBA.
The most of last season he spent at another NBA team the Nets in NBA. But in 14 games he recorded just 1.6ppg. He also played for another NBA team the Suns in NBA.
In 2018 he was drafted by Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) in second round (48th overall). The former Ohio State standout is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
Bates-Diop has played also professionally in other USA teams, NBA (Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs) and NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls).
Among many awards Bates-Diop's team made it to the NBA Semifinals in 2020. He was voted USBWA All-District V Player of the Year back in 2018 at his college time.
