Chinese WCBA round 35 best performance: Elizabeth Cambage (by Hoops Agents)

Australian Center Elizabeth Cambage (205-C-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Sichuan Yuanda Meile Basketball Club, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 35.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed Zhejiang (#3, 15-16) with 19-point margin 100-81. It allowed Yuanda to consolidate first place in the Chinese WCBA. Sichuan has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 30-1. In the team's last game Cambage had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Yuanda and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Elizabeth Cambage averages this season 18.7ppg and 7.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Australian Alanna Smith (193-F-1996) of league's second-best Shandong Sports Lottery. Smith had a very good evening with a double-double of 34 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Sports Lottery to another comfortable win 94-76 over the lower-ranked Fujian (#6, 1-30) being unquestionably team leader. Shandong's second position in Group A1 has not changed. Her team's 16-15 record is not bad at all. Smith is a newcomer at Shandong, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Kelsey Bone (193-C-1991) of league's second-best Henan Phoenix. Bone got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. She went also for twelve rebounds . She was a key player of Henan Phoenix, leading her team to a 81-68 easy win against #1 ranked Wuhan in a game of the week. Henan needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 22 victories and 9 lost games. Bone has a very solid season. In 12 games in China she scored 18.3ppg. She also has 5.9rpg and a FGP of 64.1%.

9. Aliyah Collier (183-G-1997) of Guangdong - 23 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Ana Pocek (190-C-1993) of Liaoning - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
