The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked hengfan (26-5) in Jiyuan on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Henan Phoenix (22-9) 81-68. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of hengfan. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. It was a great evening for American center Kelsey Bone (193-1991, college: Texas A&M) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Emma Cannon (188-1989, college: FSC) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Peyton Williams (193-1998, college: Kansas St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Henan maintains second place with 22-9 record behind leader Wuhan, which they share with 3 other teams.
