Leones de Ponce (BSN) inked 30-year old American ex-international 182cm point guard Frank Mason III (college: Kansas) for upcoming season. Mason played recently at Fujian Sturgeons in Chinese CBA league. In 6 games he recorded 14.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 5.3apg and 1.5spg.

After four seasons in the NBA, Mason played in France, being with SLUC Nancy for two seasons.

He is expected to join the team on February 20 and the regular season starts on March 15.
