Brown's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old American center Kalani Brown (201-C-1997, agency: LBM Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for Inner Mongolia Nongxin and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
She had a double-double of 45 points and 19 rebounds, while her team beat Zhejiang (#3, 13-14) 101-91. Mongolia maintains the 4th position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Inner M. will need more victories to improve their 18-9 record. Brown turned to be Mongolia's top player in her first season with the team. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (6th best: 21.4ppg) and averages solid 68.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Myisha Hines-Allen (185-F-1996) of Heilongjiang Dragons Daqing. She is American forward in her first season at Heilongjiang. In the last game Hines-Allen recorded an impressive triple-double of 23 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists. Of course she led Dragons to another comfortable win 89-75 over Tianjin (#9, 0-28) being unquestionably team leader. Heilongjiang's 3rd position in Group B has not changed. Her team's 20-10 record is not bad at all. Hines-Allen is a newcomer at Heilongjiang and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 12.4rpg and 5.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Fu Jinqiu (188-C-1996) of league's leader Wuhan Shengfan. Jinqiu showcased her all-around game by recording 22 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 7 assists in the last round. She was a key player of hengfan, leading her team to a 96-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Ganzhou (#8, 6-22). Wuhan confirms their top position in Group B. Jinqiu has a great season in China. After 29 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.4rpg (8th best). She also has 2.0spg and a FGP of 54.5%.

9. Imani McGee-Stafford (201-C-1994) of Xiamen - 25 points and 15 rebounds
10. Alanna Smith (193-F-1996) of Shandong - 19 points, 17 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
