The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 6 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in Daqing between third ranked Red Wolves (17-9) and fourth ranked Dragons (18-10) on Sunday night. Red Wolves were defeated by Dragons on the road 67-52. American forward Myisha Hines-Allen (185-1996, college: Louisville) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Zhou Yueming (170-1999) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Dragons' coach Eleni Kapogianni used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Queen Egbo (193-2000, college: Baylor) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Heilongjiang moved-up to third place. Shaanxi at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Inner M.. Heilongjiang are looking forward to face Tianjin (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Shaanxi will play against Hefei (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Despite that victory Shaanxi went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Inner M. Heilongjiang lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with ten games lost. Shaanxi will play against Hefei (#6) at home in the next round. Heilongjiang will play against Tianjin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Yiwu. Second-best host Golden Bulls (13-13) were smashed by first ranked Flame (21-5) 91-66. The best player for the winners was Kelsey Mitchell who scored 29 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Zhang Min who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Flame have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Shanxi maintains first position with 21-5 record. Zhejiang lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Shandong and Hefei. Shanxi will meet league's second-placed Shanghai on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zhejiang will play against Inner M. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 30: Henan won against Hefei on the opponent's court 95-77. Sichuan outscored Beijing in a home game 107-72. Liaoning rolled over Tianjin on the road 102-57. Wuhan defeated Xiamen on its own court 80-65. Fujian was beaten by Xinjiang in Urumqi 99-81. Hefei was destroyed by Henan at home 62-87. Liaoning outscored Tianjin on the opponent's court 110-72. Wuhan managed to beat Xiamen in a home game 75-69.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 50 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Chennedy Carter of Wuhan.

Hefei - Henan 77-95

Very expected game when 6th ranked Hefei (13-13) was defeated at home by second ranked Henan Phoenix (18-8) 95-77 on Friday. Henan dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hefei's 34 and made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hefei 43-26 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Henan looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Emma Cannon (188-1989, college: FSC) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Taiwanese Wei-An Chen (177-1995) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Henan Phoenix players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Kiana Williams (170-1999, college: Stanford) who recorded 25 points and 7 assists and forward Xiong Zhongyi (179-1999) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Henan Phoenix have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-8 record having just three points less than leader Wuhan, which they share with Guangdong and Shanghai. Hefei lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the second place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Shandong and Zhejiang. Henan will meet Xiamen (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hefei will play against Shaanxi (#4) in Weinan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rather predictable result in Chengdu where first ranked Yuanda (25-1) smashed 5th ranked Beijing Great Wall (11-15) 107-72 on Friday. Sichuan dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing Great Wall's 34. Sichuan had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Beijing's players. The best player for the winners was Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (205-1991) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Xu Han (208-1999) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Not a big story in a game in Tianjin where bottom-ranked Ronggang (0-26) was rolled over by fifth ranked Liaoning Hengye (16-12) 102-57 on Friday. Liaoning dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ronggang's 10. Liaoning outrebounded Tianjin 47-22 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Liaoning looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Tianjin's players. The best player for the winners was center Ha Wenxi (188-1997) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Montenegrin center Ana Pocek (190-1993) chipped in 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Liaoning Hengye players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
