Kalu's 35-point game gives her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old NGR-USAn guard Ezinne Kalu (173-G-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Zhejiang Golden Bulls and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
She had the game-high 35 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Zhejiang in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Jiangsu (#4, 10-12) 87-86. Golden Bulls maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Chinese WCBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Zhejiang will need more victories to improve their 13-10 record. In the team's last game Kalu had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Golden Bulls's top player in her first season with the team. Savannah State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kalu is in league's top in points (6th best: 20.9ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 54.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Chennedy Carter (175-PG-1998) of top-ranked Wuhan Shengfan. She is American guard in her first season at Wuhan. In the last game Carter recorded an impressive double-double of 40 points and 12 rebounds. Of course hengfan cruised to a 82-75 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Liaoning (#6, 12-11). Of course Wuhan still keep Group B's top spot. Her team lost just four games this season, while they won 19 matches. Carter is a newcomer at Wuhan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 30.9ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 7.5rpg and 5.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Peng Shiqing (174-SG-1991) of Hebei Win Power (#6). Shiqing scored 27 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). Despite Shiqing's great performance the Power lost 72-77 to slightly higher-ranked Inner M. (#4, 14-8). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Hebei can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A2. They have rather bad season and 2-20 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Shiqing has individually a great season in China. After 14 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.1ppg (5th best).

9. Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (193-F-1992) of Beijing - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Arella Guirantes (181-SG-1997) of Shanghai - 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
