Henan adds Bone to their roster, ex Villeneuve

Henan Phoenix (WCBA) added to their roster 33-year old American center Kelsey Bone (193cm-1991, college: Texas A&M). She started the season at Villeneuve D'Ascq ESB Lille Metropole in French LFB league. She managed to play in three leagues this year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 10 LFB games she recorded 11.4ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.4apg. Bone helped them to make it to the Supercup final. She also played 5 games in Euroleague where she averaged 9.8ppg, 6.2rpg and 3.0apg. And finally she recorded 1 game in Eurocup where she had 11 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. The last season season she played at Antalya 07 Basketbol (KBSL) in Turkish league.
In 2013 she was drafted by New York Liberty (WNBA) as #5 pick overall.
Bone graduated from Texas A&M University and it is her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
She represented USA at the World Championship U19 in Thailand sixteen years ago. Her team won Gold and she had over 12 points per game.
Bone is quite experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. She has played previously professionally in France, Israel (Maccabi Bnot Ashdod, Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva), Italy (NPL Dike), Poland (Polkowice), Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Turkey (Galatasaray, Girne Universitesi and Mersin), WNBA (Connecticut Sun, Phoenix Mercury and LV Aces) and China (Fujian Nanan and Liaoning Hengye).
Among many awards she was voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Center of the Year in 2024. Bone played also for University of South Carolina for one year.
