Zhejiang Golden Bulls (WCBA) released 24-year old American forward NaLyssa Smith (193cm-2000, college: Baylor). In 17 WCBA games she had very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg this season.
The last season season she played at Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring Istanbul in Turkish league. She played 23 games in Turkish KBSL where she recorded also remarkable stats: 19.9ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.0spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. 2023-24 was a great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
Three years ago she was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) as #2 pick overall.
Smith graduated from Baylor University in 2022 and it is her third season in pro basketball.
She was a member of USA Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
Among many awards she played in the final of Big 12 Tournament in 2022. Smith was also voted Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Finalist and Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Semifinalist back in 2022.
