Experienced American Eric Bledsoe (185-PG-1989) had a very impressive game in the last round for Shanghai Sharks and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 35-year old playmaker got a double-double of 34 points and 11 assists, while his team edged out Nanjing MK (#12, 12-12) 133-131. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Sharks is placed at 11th position in Chinese CBA. Shanghai is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-10 record. In the team's last game Bledsoe had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Sharks's top player in his first season with the team. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bledsoe is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 9.9apg) and averages solid 57.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Israeli forward TJ Leaf (208-F-1997) of Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings. Leaf impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Monkey Kings was edged by slightly higher-ranked Shanghai S. (#11, 12-10) 133-131. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Nanjing dropped in the standings to 12th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 12-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Leaf is a newcomer at Nanjing and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Shanghai S.'s star - American Kenneth Lofton Jr. (201-F-2002). Lofton Jr. showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 8 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Shanghai Sharks, helping his team with a 133-131 win against slightly lower-ranked Nanjing MK (#12, 12-12). Sharks needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 10 lost games. Lofton Jr. has a great season in China. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (5th best). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 62.7%.

4. Gabe York (190-SG-1993) of Zhejiang GB. - 32 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-G-1996) of Qingdao E. - 39 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists
