Flying Leopards sign Justin Patton, ex Peristeri

Liaoning Flying Leopards (CBA) signed 27-year old American center Justin Patton (216cm-109kg-1997, college: Creighton). He already started the season at Peristeri in Greek GBL league. In 9 games he had 7.9ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Patton also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 7.2ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.6apg and 2.0bpg. The last season summer he played at Indios de San Francisco (LNB) in Dominican Rep. league.
In 2017 he was drafted by Chicago Bulls (NBA) in first round (16th overall). He attended Creighton University and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Patton is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Patton has played previously professionally in France (Cholet Basket), Israel (Hapoel Eilat), Taiwan (Fubon Braves), NBA (Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and OKC Thunder), China (Loongs), NBA G League (OKC Blue, Iowa Wolves, Delaware Blue Coats, Westchester Knicks and Wisconsin Herd) and NBA Summer League (NY Knicks and Utah Jazz Blue).
Among many awards his college team made it to the FIBA Europe Cup final in 2023. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Center of the Year in 2023.
