Heroes waived Lindell Wigginton

Shandong Heroes (CBA) waived 26-year old Canadian guard Lindell Wigginton (185cm-85kg-1998, college: Iowa State). In 8 CBA games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.9ppg, 2.1rpg and 5.4apg this season.
The last season season he played at another Chinese team Flying Tigers. He also played for the Bucks in NBA. The other team he played shortly were another NBA team the Bucks in NBA where in three games he averaged just 2.0ppg. Another team he played briefly was Herd in NBA G League.
He represented Canada at the World Cup U19 in Cairo (Egypt) seven years ago. His team won Gold and he had over 12 points per game.
Wigginton is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in four different countries. He has played previously professionally in Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Wisconsin Wiggintonrd), Israel and Canada (Honey Badgers).
Among many awards he was voted USBasket.com All-CEBL Canadian Player of the Year back in 2021.
He graduated from Iowa State in 2019 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
